Trust Delivers Free Hounslow Experience Programme to Local Young People

The Hounslow Experience (T.H.E) has been delivered by the Trust during the summer holidays for local young people aged between 13 and 17.

During the summer holidays the Trust has engaged with local young people to deliver The Hounslow Experience and offer a summer full of learning and activities in ways that may not have been accessible during the busy school year.

Delivered across Hounslow, Feltham and Brentford, the programme consisted of team building activities, enterprise workshops and outdoor activities.

Each three day course focussed on:

Day 1: Who are you?

Day 2: All about me

Day 3: What’s out there?

The programme has given the Trust the opportunity to engage with completely new young people and there are now future aspirations to deliver The Hounslow Experience beyond the summer and into the academic year.

As part of the programme Daya Mangat an Engagement Lead from Kooth, who are a digital mental health and wellbeing company, delivered a series of workshops. Providing a light and insightful conversation, Daya’s discussions and games helped the young people to open their minds and engage.
