Join the Trust in support of the Baton of Hope

 In News

Suicide is the biggest killer of men and women under 35 in the UK. More than in traffic accidents. More than from cancer.

In partnership with the London Borough of Hounslow and West London NHS Wellbeing and Recovery College, the Trust is hosting a special event to mark the arrival of the Baton of Hope in London on Thursday 6 July.

The Baton of Hope is the UK’s biggest suicide awareness and prevention initiative and it aims to raise awareness of the issue and start conversations about it.

Starting in Glasgow on Sunday, June 25, the baton will journey through Edinburgh, Newcastle, Sheffield, Manchester, Belfast, Cardiff, Bristol, Birmingham, Milton Keynes and Brighton to reach Downing Street in London on Thursday, July 6.

Our borough is recognising the arrival of the baton in London with a range of thought provoking presentations on some of the work that is being done locally. Lunch will be provided before the event.
