Brentford Sports FEST postponed until October

 In Brentford Challenge, News

In light of the government’s lockdown last night, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust has postponed Brentford Sports FEST until 18 October 2020 at Syon Park.

Brentford Sports Fest, which was due to take place in the grounds of one of west London’s most iconic parks, offered exciting 10k and 5k runs for more than 600 local residents.

Lee Doyle, CEO of Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, said:

“We know many runners will be disappointed with the decision to postpone the event but the wellbeing of our participants and staff remain our top priority.

“In the coming months, we intend to offer an array of online content to keep local people fit and healthy from home. We are extremely grateful to Syon Park and our headline partner Brentford Lock West for agreeing to move the date and supporting us during these difficult circumstances.”
